The Music Department in Coachford College is a vibrant, enjoyable and ever-evolving centre of musical excellence and learning. As a subject it is offered at both junior and senior cycles and may be taken at higher or ordinary levels. At junior cycle a balanced curricular approach is maintained through the key areas of performance, listening and composition. At senior cycle this approach is augmented by providing students with a wide-ranging choice from the broad variety of performance electives on offer including technology in the school’s state-of-the-art technology labs.
