Coachford College students participate in a variety of Quiz teams where students can represent their school in a thriving, exciting competitive environment.
Coachford College enters the Examiner Quiz each year and have reached the Quarter Finals in recent years. Selection of the team takes place early in the year and training is undertaken with Ms. O’Mahony, the team mentor.

All Levels of Maths Competitions by the IMTA are entered including the Junior Maths (1st Year) Competition, the Pi Quiz for 3rd Years and Team Math for Leaving Cert Students. We also enter the Applied Maths Quiz each year.

The Junior Science Quiz is entered each year. Organised by the ISTA, Coachford College has won this event on 2 occasions recently, in 2003 and 2008. We also enter the Pfizer Quiz for Chemistry Students and won this trophy in 2007.
