Pastoral Care

The college attaches great importance to pupils' welfare and happiness. Accordingly, a structure has been set up to cater for the social and emotional needs of pupils.

Each first year child is assigned to a tutorial group. The child remains in that group throughout his/her period in school and tends to identify with it. The tutor makes a particular effort to get to know the children in his group and takes a special interest in each child's progress and wellbeing. Since the relationship between a child and his tutor is often less formal than is the normal teacher-pupil relationship, frequently a child approaches his tutor when in difficulties or when simply looking for advice.

Parents are urged to contact their child's tutor whenever they feel a meeting may be of value
