All these topics are answered in science, which encompasses Chemistry, Physics and Biology with sections in materials, earth science and horticulture. 

Science is taken at Junior Certificate only at Coachford College and is a core subject. The subject is offered at Higher and Ordinary levels with theory, laboratory and practical classes ensuring each and every student has the opportunity to experience the thrill of our scientific world. The subject breaks up into the separate subjects -Chemistry, Physics and Biology in senior cycle.
