SPHE

What is S.P.H.E.?

SPHE=Social, Personal and Health Education

It is an exciting new subject taught at junior cert level

SPHE has one class per week over a 3 year period

Why SPHE?

Through SPHE, we at Coachford College aim to:
 

Develop personal and social skills

Promote physical, mental and emotional health and well-being

Promote our student's self esteem and self confidence

SPHE in the classroom

SPHE is presented in 10 modules/topics

SPHE-A fun subject!!

Students are encouraged to enjoy an active part in SPHE class

We engage and enjoy group discussions, role play/drama, project work, drawings/collage, music/singing, visitors and mush mush more....

In SPHE, learning and fun go hand in hand

Did You Know??
In the last 10 years, students at Coachford College have achieved highest result in Ireland in a Leaving Cert Subject 6 (yes SIX) times!! Subjects include Physics, Maths, Irish and Applied Maths.
